Yesterday the Israel PTO announced that its new patent electronic filing system would be online today as of 13:30.
As predicted, the system wasn't online then and still isn't online now. So if you have to file something today at the Israel PTO, good luck.
At least the ILPTO had the sense and the decency to send out an email at 13:39 telling us that the system remains offline, and that they'll tell us when it's fixed. If this was the USPTO, it would be hours, if at, before the office acknowledged that there was a problem.
It would have been nice if they'd given us similar advance warning about the scheduling and length of the training session for the new system that took place yesterday, instead of a mere four days' warning for a session that started 15 minutes late and then lasted two hours.
