The ILPTO's web site has been inaccessible to me, at least since last night, when I attempted to access it using my regular internet connection. This means that I have been unable to see announcements on the ILPTO site, or to file documents. The last time I successfully accessed the ILPTO site was sometime on Tuesday. When trying to access it (https://www.justice.gov.il/Units/RashamHaptentim/Pages/default.aspx), the following message appears, regardless of O/S or browser used:
I get the same error message when trying to access other part of the Justice Ministry web site, e.g. the Companies Registry.
I have heard from some people that they too have had problems with site access over the past two days, but others have reported they're able to get into the ILPTO site without difficulty.
I found a work-around, but it isn't a permanent solution: if I turn off the wifi on my phone, I am able to access the site through my cell phone carrier. By then turning my phone into a wifi hotspot and connecting my computer through the hotspot, I can access and ILPTO site and file documents.
Perhaps someone more computer-savvy than me understands the issue here.
The ILPTO's patents database is still accessible (http://www.ilpatsearch.justice.gov.il/UI/MainPage.aspx).
